Our Roles and Seasons Do Not Define Us
Leonissa talks about getting lost in her roles as a mother, a wife, and working in ministry. Once she began intentionally seeking and listening to the Lord, He reminded her who she was in midst of it all. The revelation of being a “trailblazer” has been re-birthed in her heart. Leonissa says that we must ask the question: “Who am I” and then we must allow it to go from our heads to our hearts.
Little Girls Need To See Their Mothers Living With Purpose

Words are Powerful
Tim and I discuss the power of declaring the truths we discover. Our words are a powerful force and they become our worlds. When we speak things out loud it is an acknowledgment of the existence of a thought or idea. Leonissa boldly declares that God has created her to be a trailblazer. Here are some things to remember about making declarations about who God says you are:
- Seek the Lord and listen to what He is saying about you. The fact is that He is speaking, but many times we are not listening.
- Allow the truth to go from your head to your heart
- Boldly begin to declare the truth out loud
- These powerful words will begin to become the reality that you live in
What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Matthew 10:27 NIV
