Highlights from Episode 018:

Listen as Carie shares the journey of loving through some of the most difficult times of her life. Be encouraged as you hear how the Love of God has never failed in her life.

I was fighting for my life and the life of my daughter

When my daughter was finally delivered from her addiction, she said “I knew that it was the grace of God that loved me and saved me.”

July 11, 2016: I was at my breaking point

Here is Carie’s Journal Entry from July 2016.  You can hear the desperation in her prayer… THE LOVE OF GOD DID NOT FAIL HER.

A mommas prayer

The transition happens when I lay aside my feelings that say it’s difficult, it’s hard… and I choose to pick up loving from a pure heart, loving the way that 1 Corinthians 13 says to love.

Some of my closest times with God seem to be in the difficult times.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [a]puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [b]thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
